Brasil
Brazil is a fantastic cultural country. There are many things to see and appreciate, and all the artistic expressions of this country are fantastic. From the Samba and the Pagode to the artist Tarsila do Amaral. All the artistic ways that this country promote are noticeably big and have been a font of big inspiration over the years.
Music
The typical music of Brazil is the Samba and the Bossa Nova.
Samba: this music has originated with the African slaves on Brazil. African slaves, started to mix their beats with the European rhythms like polka and waltz. By that time, the Samba was more used for religious celebrations, than entertainment itself. Historians say that Samba originated on Bahia, but strengthened to Rio de Janeiro, where the music started to be popular by the Carnival.
Bossa Nova: This music style appears with the combination of north American music and Samba.
There are also other types of music, but these are the typical ones, but if you want to hear some music’s (typical and other) down you can find it.

Dance
The typical Dances of Brazil are: Samba, Carimbó, Bumba- meu- boi, Frevo, Forró, Maracatu, Baião, Jongo and Coco. We are wonna talk about Bumba-meu-boi, Forró and Samba.
Bumba-meu-boi: this dance, is considerated one of the most folkloric of the country. “Also called Boi- Bumba» is a typical dance from the north and the northeast regions. On 2012 Bumba-meu-boi was recognized like “Cultural Geritage of Brazil”. This dance has origin on century 16 when Portugues come to Brazil, and they tell an Iberian tale that was modified to create a legend, why Bumba-meu –boi is celebrated.

Forró: Forró is a dance and a music of Brazil and is mostly danced on the north region of Brazil but has origin on Africa and Europ. This dance is popular in big parties of the northeast region, and mostly they are during all the night. On the last decades, the Forró has been extended by immigrants searching for opportunities.
